In the bustling Indian audio market, one brand consistently makes waves with its value-for-money offerings: Noise. From smartwatches to truly wireless earbuds (TWS), Noise has carved a significant niche by delivering feature-rich products at competitive prices. The latest entrant to generate considerable buzz is the Noise Buds VS104. These earbuds are quickly trending across online marketplaces and tech discussions, captivating consumers looking for a reliable audio companion without breaking the bank. But what exactly makes the VS104 so popular, and do they live up to the hype?
The Noise Buds VS104 arrives at a sweet spot in the budget TWS segment, aiming to provide a compelling blend of audio quality, battery life, and convenience. Its trending status can be attributed to several factors: Noise’s established brand trust in India, aggressive pricing (check the latest price), and a feature set that often punches above its weight class. For many Indian consumers, the VS104 represents an accessible entry point into the world of truly wireless audio, offering a taste of modern conveniences without a premium cost.
Key Features and What Matters
Let’s dive into the specifics that make the Noise Buds VS104 a noteworthy contender in its category:
- Signature Sound Experience: Noise often tunes its audio products for a bass-heavy, energetic sound profile, and the VS104 seems to follow suit. Users can generally expect a punchy bass that enhances popular music genres, coupled with clear enough mids and highs for everyday listening. While not aimed at audiophiles, the sound should be more than satisfactory for casual music lovers and podcast listeners.
- Impressive Battery Life: One of the most critical aspects of any TWS earbud is its endurance. The Noise Buds VS104 typically boasts a substantial total playtime, combining the earbuds’ charge with multiple recharges from the compact charging case. This means you can often go for extended periods – sometimes an entire day or more with moderate use – without needing to find a power outlet. This is a huge convenience for commuters, students, and anyone on the go.
- Seamless Connectivity: Equipped with the latest Bluetooth technology, the VS104 promises quick pairing and a stable connection. This translates to fewer dropouts and a more reliable listening experience, whether you’re streaming music, taking calls, or watching videos. The instant pairing feature ensures that once configured, the earbuds connect almost immediately when taken out of their case.
- Comfort and Design: The earbuds are designed to be lightweight and ergonomic, aiming for a comfortable fit even during long listening sessions. Different ear tip sizes are usually included, allowing users to find the best seal for both comfort and passive noise isolation. The charging case is typically sleek and pocket-friendly, making it easy to carry around.
- Intuitive Touch Controls: Most budget TWS earbuds now feature touch controls, and the VS104 is no exception. These allow users to manage music playback (play, pause, skip tracks), answer or end calls, and activate their smartphone’s voice assistant with simple taps or gestures, all without needing to pull out their phone.
- IP Rating for Durability: Depending on the specific model variant, the VS104 might offer an IPX rating, indicating resistance to sweat and light splashes. This feature is particularly valuable for fitness enthusiasts or those who spend time outdoors, providing peace of mind against moisture damage.
Who Should Consider Buying the Noise Buds VS104?
The Noise Buds VS104 are an excellent choice for a specific demographic of users:

- Everyday Listeners: For those who primarily listen to music, podcasts, or audiobooks during commutes, workouts, or while working, the VS104 delivers a solid and enjoyable audio experience.
- Students and Young Professionals: With its blend of affordability, decent battery life, and ease of use, it’s a practical choice for daily tasks and entertainment.
- Users Prioritizing Battery Life: If you often forget to charge your devices or need earbuds that can last through long stretches, the VS104’s extended playtime is a major plus.
- First-Time TWS Owners: It serves as an excellent entry-level option for those new to the truly wireless earbud experience, offering all the essential features without overwhelming complexity.
Honest Caveats and Alternatives
While the Noise Buds VS104 offers a lot for its price, it’s important to set realistic expectations:
- Audio Purity: Audiophiles seeking a neutral sound signature, intricate detail, or wide soundstage might find the VS104’s tuning a bit too consumer-focused, particularly with its emphasis on bass.
- Call Quality in Noisy Environments: While acceptable for calls in quiet settings, the microphones might struggle to isolate your voice effectively in very noisy outdoor or public spaces.
- Premium Features: Don’t expect features like active noise cancellation (ANC), transparency mode, or highly advanced custom equalization options, which are typically reserved for higher-priced segments.
- Build Materials: While durable enough for daily use, the plastic construction might not feel as premium as more expensive alternatives.
If the VS104 doesn’t quite fit your needs, the Indian market is brimming with alternatives in the budget segment. Brands like boAt, realme, pTron, and Mivi offer numerous TWS models that compete directly, often with similar feature sets and price points. It’s always a good idea to compare battery life, sound profiles, and any specific features like gaming modes or IP ratings if they are critical to your usage.
Ultimately, the Noise Buds VS104 stands out as a strong contender in the budget TWS category for good reason. It delivers a compelling package of features, decent audio, and impressive battery life at an accessible price point (check the latest price). For the average Indian consumer looking for a reliable and enjoyable truly wireless audio experience without a significant investment, the VS104 is definitely worth considering.
Our take: If you want affordable, everyday true wireless earbuds with punchy sound and long battery life for commutes, workouts, and calls, the Noise Buds VS104 are a strong buy. Check the latest price on Amazon and pick them up if they fit your budget.
